The Archivist-Palaeographer programme includes a mandatory internship of 2 to 3 months abroad in a cultural institution (archives, libraries, museums) during the fall of the student’s fourth year. The ENC takes care of the travel fees up to €300 and pays each student a stipend. The destinations are not limited geographically: each year, the ENC selects new internship destinations in order to diversify its students’ experiences.

Archivist-Palaeographer students can also ask the ENC to finance a portion of the travel fees brought about by an international sojourn in order to consult sources under the framework of thesis research. The ENC can finance this expense up to €300 per year per student.
Second-year Master’s students can also do a 3-month internship through the support of the Erasmus+ fund.
