In parallel to its different collections of printed publications, the Ecole des Chartes also proposes a collection of electronic publications: the Ecole des Chartes online publications (Eléc).
This makes it possible to provide the features of digital technology for academic research. It mainly includes directories and databases, as well as the publications of texts, which can then be explored more closely than they could be in their printed versions.
This collection is composed of:
- Textual collections put online for research purposes, without any editorial intervention by the Ecole des chartes
- Productions for educational purposes, available on the Theleme website
- A space presenting different tools and IT methods developed by the Ecole des chartes
These productions are placed under a free licence, according to the terms of the Creative Commons “Paternity license – No commercial usage – No modification.” They are thus available for consultation and download free of charge.
